Fortnite's Next Crossovers Could Include Elden Ring, Survey Hints

An unconfirmed survey hints at Fortnite's next round of guest character skins, including Melina and Iron Fist Alexander from Elden Ring.

A leaked survey could provide clues to which video game characters may be coming to Fortnite as future guest player skins, including options from Elden Ring. Epic’s blockbuster multiplayer battle royale has seen guest appearances from comic book icons, movie characters, and even real-world celebrities like Arianna Grande and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Additionally, the latest Fortnite crossover event highlights many Marvel superheroes that have visited The Island over the years.

Fortnite has also been home to plenty of popular gaming heroes, with the latest being the legendary assassins Ezio and Eivor of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Uncharted’s Nathan Drake was introduced as a guest Fortnite skin in both his game and movie incarnations during the release of the live-action Uncharted film earlier this year, and PlayStation has also seen representation from God Of War’s Kratos and Horizon Forbidden West’s Aloy. Meanwhile, the Master Chief steeped onto the battlefield of Fortnite to represent both Xbox and the Halo series back in 2020, and popular characters from third-party franchises like Street Fighter and Resident Evil have also been included as part of Fortnite’s ever-growing roster.

Now, an unofficial and unconfirmed player survey is hinting at some new Fortnite guest character skins, shared by Twitter user and Fortnite rumor tracker Shiina. This list of characters, which was provided to Shiina by Guille_GAG of the Fortnite News Twitter account, includes a wide range of characters from comics, TV shows, and other games - with the gaming list featuring Elden Ring’s Melina and Iron Fist Alexander among the many possible new skins. The leaked survey list hasn’t been confirmed by Epic Games or any other official source and is considered speculation at this time.

Here's a new survey that was recently sent to players by Epic Games 👀

In the past, these surveys OFTEN showed upcoming collaborations, so it's very likely that this list also includes upcoming collabs!

If this Fortnite survey is legitimate, it would likely be exciting news for gaming fans. Elden Ring quickly became one of the highest-selling video games of 2022 when it launched in February, and players are still discussing new character builds and boss strategies months later.  Some of the major characters Elden Ring players have encountered in the untamed Lands Between include the helpful Melina, who guides players on their journey to become the Elden Lord, and Iron Fist Alexander, a whimsical Living Jar that players can summon to aide them after completing a certain quest.

Both of these characters would make suitable representatives for Elden Ring as guest Fortnite character skins, assuming that the list shared by Shiina is accurate. For those who aren't interested in additional crossovers with Marvel and DC, having more gaming icons on the Island might be seen as a welcome breath of fresh air. This potential Fortnite survey could let players decide which characters come to the Island next, offering more community involvement in deciding crossover content.
