We’re getting close to the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, but there is still some content to come. March 1 brings Fortnite’s v19.40 update, including a new Naomi Osaka ICON Series skin, Internation Women’s Week celebrations, and a new Spider-Man Wild Week. Check out the full patch notes below.
Fortnite’s latest patch introduces the new Naomi Osaka ICON Series skin, making her the latest athlete to receive an in-game version of herself like LeBron James.
It was thought that we’d see more Spider-Man content, but it appears that we’re going to have to keep waiting for any new cosmetics. The good news, however, is that the masked vigilante is getting his own Wild Week.

On top of that, Epic have also unvaulted Bouncers, which will be found as ground loot or in Supply Drops until March 8, 2022.
If that’s not enough, there will be special ‘Amazing Web Week’ Quests when the event kick offs on March 1, which will help you give an XP boost and finish your Battle Pass before Season 3.
Proximity Voice Chat in Impostors
If you enjoy Fortnite’s Impostors mode, the good news is that it now features Proximity Voice Chat, which means you can hear players when they are nearby.
As before, voice chat is split between alive and eliminated players.
Fortnite 19.40 update bug fixes
There are only two confirmed fixes in Fortnite’s 19.40 patch. These are:
- Fixed an issue involving Outfits sometimes glowing with a bright blue “hologram” effect in the Lobby.
- Fixed the issue in which POI names would appear on the map only in English regardless of your selected language.
In the meantime, check out the recent leak that a huge earthquake is set to destroy Chapter 3’s Tilted Towers POI.
