In case you were unaware, there’s a new MLK Jr.-themed event going on in Fortnite right now. The “March Through Time” event, which was created by ChaseJackman, GQuanoe, XWDFr, and YU7A, brings players back to 1963 Washington D.C. Commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic August 28 “I Have A Dream” speech is not all there is to this Fortnite event, however. Players can also check out museum-like exhibits on race history and collaborative mini-games within the new mode. If that’s not enough, there is also a free MLK-related spray attached to this Fortnite event – the DC 63 Spray. Earning this spray is fairly quick and very straightforward, but if you’re not sure how to do it, this guide will provide you with everything you need. Here’s how to get the DC 63 Spray in Fortnite.
How to Get the D.C. 63 Spray in Fortnite
Luckily, getting the DC 63 Spray couldn’t be easier. All players need to do to unlock this MLK-themed Fortnite spray is simply spend 20 minutes within the “March Through Time” event. Afterwards, you should be able to find the spray within your inventory.
The DC 63 spray is shown in the image above and is comprised of text reading “D.C. 63” with a blue, dripping paint splash contrasting the distressed black text. There also appears to be an equal sign housed within the “C” of “D.C”. It is an ‘uncommon’ spray in terms of rarity.
Epic has not currently announced an end date for this Fortnite event so make sure to hop in, learn something, and get your Martin Luther King Jr.-related spray as soon as possible before you miss out! Since the “I Have A Dream” speech is around 17 minutes long, essentially all you have to do is listen to one of the most iconic speeches of all time to earn yourself a neat, free spray.
