Once you've completed this task though, the Gold Lara Croft will be yours to wear whenever you like.

How to unlock the Gold Lara Croft skin in Fortnite
Thankfully, unlocking the Gold Lara Croft skin in Fortnite is a very easy task to accomplish, though it does require owning this season's Battle Pass.
First, you need to ensure you've unlocked the Lara Croft skin by reaching Tier 15 on the Battle Pass.
After this, or if you've unlocked Lara already, head to your locker and ensure she is the current skin you're wearing.
Now it's time to head into a match!
To unlock the Gold Lara Croft skin, you need to visit Isla Nublada which is located just off the southern coast of the Fortnite map and directly south of the Flushed Factory.
We recommend completing this task at the beginning of a match, because only one player can pick up the required item per match. This means that you may have to compete with other players to unlock this skin and waiting too long could cause you to lose your opportunity.

Once you reach the island, head into the ground floor of the small ruin. Inside you'll find Orelia, an NPC, and a gold Assault Rifle.
Picking up this Assault Rifle will transform your skin into the Gold Lara Croft skin. The downside, however, is that Orelia will immediately start attacking you and, since she has a Spire Guardian's Primal Assault Rifle, will most likely kill you.
Luckily, you only need to pick up the gun to unlock the skin, so, even if she does muder you, the Gold Lara Croft skin will still be yours.
If you're having trouble unlocking this skin due to other players getting there first, we recommend waiting until the Battle Bus begins the match by flying directly over the island. This will allow you to fly down to Isla Nublada straight away and, by landing on the highest point of the ruin, you can easily drop down to grab the gold Assault Rifle.
