A Reddit user has found a really funny and new idea for a skin that should be released in the new Season 5 of Fortnite that is coming soon.
The idea was posted on r/FortniteBR yesterday and has received many upon many of up-votes and support from the community. The post suggested that a skin of Phil Swift should be released and playable in the game.
In the post, there was already a model skin made for the player that looks like Phil Swift which includes a Flex Seal shirt and belt. Also included is a skin for the glider which represents a fixed boat that was seen in one of the popular infomercials. Finally, the pickaxe has a skin of a Flex Seal roller that models the product.
Phil Swift is is a spokesman for Flex Seal, a company that specializes in adhesive bonding products that help fix items that have been broken. The company has gained a lot of popularity recently due to the infomercials that feature Swift and the extraordinary things that can be fixed by Flex Seal.
This meme is popular among the internet and would be funny and awesome if Epic Games could add this skin into Fortnite. There is definitely some overlap with fans of Phil Swift and the players of Fortnite so it would definitely be welcome in the game.
Season 5 of Fortnite is set to be released on July 12th and will come with a bunch of new content for the game. Many new emotes and skins will be added with the Season 5 Battle Pass and little is known which will definitely be put into the game.
The addition of Phil Swift as a skin for the Season 5 Battle Pass would be great. If so, maybe Phil Swift and Flex Seal will be able to fix the rift in the sky and seal it back to normal.
