medic skin fortnite
One of the best feelings when you're playing Fortnite's 50 vs 50 mode is when a total stranger comes over and revives you after you get knocked down. That feeling gets even better when they drop a medkit or some bandages for you to heal up afterward.
When I play the mode I make every effort to pay it forward, reviving any downed players I see unless the risk is too great.
YouTuber Sushii Films has taken this approach one step further, going full-on medic and not just reviving other players, but setting up MASH units (basically) with healing items and shields.
The YouTube video Sushii Films has made using the game's Replay Tool is one of the best I've seen. Hopefully it inspires more players to join up and become a Fortnite medic.
Or, um, a hero.

This has gotten me thinking about a couple of things.
More Revive Challenges
First off, I wish there were more Weekly or Daily challenges that rewarded reviving other players. Epic could replace some elimination challenges or some search chest challenges with things like Revive 3 Players In A Single Match, Revive Players (0/10) and so forth, especially since we have 50 vs 50 running pretty much all the time these days (which is great!)
Charity Medic/Nurse Skins
Epic should also release Medic and/or Nurse Outfits and, here's the kicker, make them the first (but not the last) charity skins. Blizzard raised $12 million for cancer with Overwatch's Pink Mercy skin. It's past time for Epic to release charity skins of its own for Fortnite, and where better to start than with the medical profession? All proceeds could go to some good cause, like the Children's Hospital or disabled gamers and so forth.
Bonus: If you haven't seen it yet, watch this amazing rescue mission play out. The ending is hilarious. I love how, even in Solo mode, players can find ways to help one another out in this game.
