If you missed out on the reward for collecting every Dragon Ball in Fortnite, don’t worry – Shenron will return.
Kamehamehas have been blasting through the island for a few weeks, but all good things must come to an end. The Dragon Ball collaboration with Epic Games’ battle royale was a tremendous crossover, and one that won’t quickly be forgotten.
For many players, this was Fortnite’s best-ever collaboration, and there’s plenty to choose from! Not only did the event finally add more iconic anime skins to the game, it also gave players a chance to earn some free rewards.
But if you never collected the 7 Dragon Balls to earn yourself a free Shenron glider, the good news is that it’s not lost forever.
Here’s what time the Fortnite x Dragon Ball event will come to an end in your region!
Dragon Ball Content Will Come Back to Fortnite
According to Epic Games, all Dragon Ball Power Unleashed rewards were not exclusive to the event pass, meaning they’re able to return in the future.
“Please note that in-game rewards, including the Shenron glider, are not exclusive to Dragon Ball – Power Unleased! and may be available in the Item Shop for purchase at a potentially higher price,” Epic Games reports.
As for when the Dragon Ball Super content could return, we can’t be sure. That said, the Naruto crossover came back with a second wave of skins 7 months after its initial debut.
Could that mean we’ll see Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma, as well as the Power Unleashed event pass content coming back around March 2023? Only time will tell.
And it’s not just the Dragon Ball event that’s coming to an end! Here’s Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3’s end date, which is closer than you’d think.
