Ravensburger announces a new Marvel Villanous expansion that adds Venom to the game. The new movie we are Venom was written with the title “Dumity, Vingts”. The new boxed set allows players to play as Venom, who tries to permanently integrate with Spider-Man by adding tokens to his hero card. Allies (villains who help Venom on his goals) are Riot, Agony, Lasher, Scream and Phage, while Black Cat, Scarlet Spider and Silver Sable are new heroes who try to stop Venom in the tracks. Unlike other Villainous expansions, Marvel Villainous should be combined with the main Marvel Villainous game, or even the last year’s Mischief and Malice expansion.
Marvel Villainous is a remake of Ravensburger’s Villainous franchise. Players are playing the same superheroes as those of the Marvel villain. Every villain is trying to be the first to accomplish their own goals by moving to a different location each turn on the player board and completing the action depicted on the space. A common deck which enables everyone else to play games – all with the unique cards that each active villain has the ability to play in that world. There are also separate events in Marvel Villainous that force all players to work together or face severe penalties and limitations.
Ravensburger will also release Star Wars Villainous this year, which is the first one with Star Wars characters. This game introduces vehicles and two different currencies to that game.
The book Marvel Villainous will be released this October and offer a price of 14,99 dollars.
