Fortnite collabs are a big reason why the game is still incredibly popular. Even in 2022, more than five years after its release, the title is still at the top and has millions of active players daily.
Epic Games has collaborated with many companies and brands to bring their products to Fortnite. Additionally, a lot of celebrities have collaborated with the developer and received their own skins in the game.
The first-ever Fortnite Battle Royale crossover was released in Chapter 1 Season 4. At the time, Epic Games released the first-ever Marvel crossover, which also brought the Infinity Gauntlet limited-time game mode. Since then, the developer has collaborated with numerous other companies.
This article lists eight underrated Fortnite collabs that have gone under the radar. These collabs are amazing, but for some reason, the community hasn't been a big fan of them.

Assassin’s Creed, LeBron James-Space Jam, and 6 other underrated Fortnite collabs
1) Fortnite x Metallica
On December 14, 2022, Epic Games released a surprise emote to the Item Shop. This cosmetic item was encrypted for a long time, and the development team wanted to surprise players with it.
The emote is called Master of Puppets and is based on Metallica's popular song of the same name. The cosmetic item looks amazing, not only because of the music but also because it is a synced emote that can be used by four players at the same time.
The song by Metallica was also featured in Stranger Things, which is a big reason why so many Fortnite players recognized it when it was released in the Item Shop.
2) Assassin’s Creed skins
Epic Games has released many video game characters in Fortnite Battle Royale. These characters have their own rarity called Gaming Legends, and many of them have become very popular.
Unfortunately, Assassin’s Creed skins have gone relatively unnoticed. Epic Games has released Ezio Auditore and Eivor Varinsdottir, along with their accessories, but players rarely use them.
While Ezio is one of the most notable characters in the history of video games, it appears that Fortnite players prefer something else.
3) Fortnite x League of Legends
Epic Games has collaborated with Riot Games to bring two popular gaming characters to Fortnite Battle Royale. Jinx and Vi were added to the battle royale title to promote Arcane, an animated series based on League of Legends that features these characters.
While both Vi and Jinx look amazing, these characters aren't very popular in the Fortnite community. It appears that Fortnite and League of Legends players don't have a lot in common.
4) Robocop
Robocop is a popular character from the 1987 movie of the same name. Thanks to his popularity, the character has been featured in many video games. This is why his arrival in Fortnite was not surprising.
This Epic outfit was first released in Chapter 3 Season 2. Despite being a frequent item in the Item Shop, the character hasn't achieved much popularity in the video game and is generally disliked.
5) Ferrari
Back in Chapter 2 Season 7, Epic Games released one of the best Fortnite collabs of all time. The video game publisher added Ferrari, a legendary sports car, to the video game, allowing players to drive it.
Epic Games released the Ferrari 296 GTB, which was the best car available in the game at the time. Not only was the sports car extremely fast, but it also looked beautiful.
To motivate players to use the car, the Fortnite developer released a couple of challenges. Several Ferrari-themed skins were also released in the Item Shop. However, they did not get great reviews from the community.
The Ferrari collab was one of the most unique Fortnite collabs ever released. Hopefully, Epic Games will release more collabs with popular car manufacturers in the future.
6) Aloy and Horizon Dawn Zero
In Chapter 2 Season 6, Epic Games announced a couple of Fortnite collabs that added popular gaming characters to the battle royale. Lara Croft was released with the Battle Pass, while Aloy was obtainable from the Item Shop and the special cup.
The Horizon Zero Dawn character looks amazing and comes with several accessories. Unfortunately, the Fortnite community hasn't enjoyed her very much.
Aloy is one of the best-looking gaming characters in the battle royale title and comes in two different styles.
7) LeBron James and Space Jam
LeBron James is one of the greatest basketball players of all time, so it's not surprising that he was added to Fortnite Battle Royale. The four-time NBA champion was added to the game in Chapter 2 Season 7 with multiple styles.
James' addition to the battle royale title made a lot of sense as he was featured in Space Jam: A New Legacy, a new movie promoted in Fortnite. One of his styles is the Tune Squad jersey, which he wore in the movie.
8) Marshmello
Adding Marshmello to Fortnite Battle Royale was one of the best things Epic Games ever did. While the skin of the popular artist was relatively popular, a lot of players underrated his concert.
Long before Travis Scott and Ariana Grande, it was Marshmello who held a concert in the popular video game. While his concert wasn't as flashy as the other two, it raised the bar high and allowed players to enjoy a fantastic live show in the game.
