A new DLC skin pack for Fortnite leaks, revealing three classic Fortnite skins featuring a new look customizable with a unique slider.
Fortnite players are currently neck-deep in the battle royale's ongoing Marvel event, earning and enjoying all manner of exciting Marvel superhero-related content. But alongside the Marvel skins, Epic Games has also been delivering a consistent stream of cosmetics. The Samurai Scrapper pack recently delivered Fortnite players a set of junkyard samurai gear and accessories. And the Street Serpent Starter Pack offered a masked vigilante with nunchucks and a polearm. Next, Fortnite appears to be planning a legendary take on some classic skins.
A newly leaked pack of cosmetic DLC for Fortnite is apparently coming to Fortnite soon. Reddit user ShookPA dropped the leak on the social media platform this Saturday, sharing the in-store listing for what's named the Corrupted Legends Pack. The Corrupted Legends pack features three returning outfits, each with a glossy new finish and each with their own thematic backpacks. The names are the Corrupted Arachne, the Corrupted Insight, and the Corrupted Shogun.
The Shogun, Arachne, and Insight skins are all high-quality skin releases from Fortnite's past. What makes the Corrupted pack different is a unique color and texture filter that makes the outfits stand out in a unique way. Included is a slider that will allow players to customize just how corrupted the outfit appears. The basic visuals for the skins are all white and black, while the corrupted version turns them into a Tron-like red and black theme.
The three Back Blings in the Corrupted Legends skin pack will also be affected by the corrupted slider, too, its been confirmed. The Back Blings are pretty cool, too. The Arachne bling is an 8-legged spider and the Shogun bling is a set of wings with accessories. They'll make for interesting combinations with other skins.
A skin pack with such an interesting feature isn't going to come cheaply, however. No official price has yet been announced for the Corrupted Legends Pack, but previous DLC packs of a similar nature have cost anywhere from $15 to $20. With the addition of the Corrupted slider, however, this pack might jump in price up to $25 or more. Fans will just have to wait and see.
No release date has yet been confirmed for Fortnite's upcoming Corrupted Legends skin pack. That its been leaked indicates that it will probably be released sometime soon, though. Fortnite players will just have to wait for an official announcement from Epic Games within the next week or few.
Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and mobile devices, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S support planned for each console's launch.
