7 most glitchy Fortnite cosmetics of all time

Fortnite is a well-made and well-kept game. Epic Games works round the clock to ensure they have a quality product, and they do an excellent job. The game usually does not suffer from any serious issues, and any that do arise are taken care of quickly.

Nevertheless, there are issues that crop up from time to time. No game is perfect, and Fortnite has had its fair share of issues over the years. Here are a few examples of some glitchy cosmetics, a section of the game that has had issues.

Fortnite cosmetics with crazy glitches

Here's a look at seven such cosmetics:

7) Skull Trooper skin

The Purple Skull Trooper skin, an alternate style for one of the most iconic skins in the game, had a crazy glitch recently. When equipped with Oni's Curse, the new SypherPK back bling, the skin glitched.

With the back bling on, the skin was almost completely black. The only item on the entire skin that could be seen clearly was the back bling. It was a perfect glitch for blending in with dark surroundings, which can be of incredible help to winning games.

6) Spider-Man skin

The Spider-Man Fortnite skin from the Chapter 3 Season 1 battle pass had excellent alternate styles. For a while that season, players could merge the styles with a hilarious glitch.

With the skin equipped, there was a storyline quest that had them don a disguise. On completion of the challenge, the mask for Spider-Man would be a totally different style than the skin was, making for a unique look.

5) Blue Shock weapon wrap

The Blue Shock weapon wrap is one of the coolest in the game. It makes weapons look really good, so many Fortnite players wanted to purchase and use it. However, it had a nearly game breaking glitch that essentially made gamers lose.

On firing a bullet, the entire screen would get covered in a white flash. It gets impossible to see for a couple of seconds. If firing repeatedly, the flash would never go away. It was one of the most frustrating glitches in a long time.

4) Iron Man's built-in emote

The Iron Man emote had a glitch in which players could go almost entirely invisible. The idea, during the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 battle pass, was to let the Tony Stark skin suit up into Iron Man.

It's a common emote, as many other superhero skins like Venom have something similar. However, if players got ten eliminations and used it, they would become victually invisible. It was a game breaking glitch for ones who had the battle pass.

3) The Matrix emotes

In a crossover, Fortnite brought The Matrix to the game in the form of a couple of emotes.

When used properly, they were able to effectively dodge bullets. While the object of one of them was to mirror Neo's bullet dodging from the movie, that was not what Epic wanted.

Trinity's Kick could glitch and dodge bullets, too, so these were one of the more glitchy emotes in the game's history.

2) Anime skins

There are several different anime skins at this point in Fortnite. There are quite a few original ones as well as Naruto and Dragon Ball Z. They all come in the same art style.

Unfortunately, that art style lent itself to a pretty big glitch. For a while in Chapter 3 Season 2, smoke bombs were in the loot pool. When throwing them on an anime skin, the outline would get visible, making the smoke worthless.

1) Mystique's built-in emote

This skin was released in chapter 2 season 1. Press j to jump to the feed. Smoke dragon was first added to the game in fortnite chapter 2 season 1.

The most glitched cosmetic in Fortnite is Mystique's emote. It has been used to impersonate NPCs, change to unreleased skins and so many other things. Some of these were unintended advantages, while others were outright glitches.
