A Twitter user discovers a game-breaking rotational combination in Fortnite Season 8.

Rotating in Fortnite is a critical component whether you're a pub stomper or Arena Mode warrior. Epic Games has introduced unique methods of transportation over the last few years. Some standouts include Shockwave Grenades, Shadow Bombs, Crash Pads, Launch Pads and the list goes on. Despite the tools available, players always manage to innovate in unimaginable ways.

Enter Chapter 2 – Season 8 — Fortnite’s latest significant update. Epic added more mobility options than many of the previous seasons, and players have naturally discovered borderline game-breaking rotational strategies. One particular takes a simple recipe that will legitimately launch you across the map.

Shadow Stone, Swimming & Bouncer Rotation

@50taruns and I how to rotate from coral (can also land craggy, zayt hill, and sweaty) you can do it at different poi's but this is the most crucial one. pic.twitter.com/xhQ5kBKVuv

First tweeted by user glepo_, perhaps the most helpful combination came to light, and it catapults you across the map. The clip takes place in Coral Castle, where glepo consumes a Shadow Stone and then swims into the stationary Bouncer utility. The end result is the character launching from Coral Castle to the map’s center area. It’s game-breaking in the sense that it makes a Coral Castle a much more viable drop spot and allows for painless rotation.

The Twitter user mentioned that players can replicate this same method at various locations throughout Fortnite’s island. If Epic does not patch this strategy, we’ll likely see players flying across the map regularly. It’s something worth utilizing whether you’re playing public matches or Arena Mode.

We’ll have to see what happens over the next few weeks with the competitive season looming. For now, the Shadow Stone and Bouncer rotation is something you’ll want to have in your back pocket.
